what counts
- a person
- Someone on the account whose phone can be paged. Solo covers every phone you own. Team and Company count people, not phones.
- a channel
- A URL that pages you when something posts to it. Archived channels don't count.
- a vital
- A check-in your job sends on a schedule. If one doesn't arrive in time, Mast pages you.
- a probe
- A URL we fetch for you from our servers in the US, paging you when it stops answering.
- a message
- Anything sent to one of your channels. The count starts over each month.
billing
- the first 14 days
- Every paid plan starts with 14 days free. You give a card at checkout, the first charge is when the trial ends, and Stripe emails you three days before that. Cancel in the billing portal before then and nothing is charged. One trial per account; moving between paid plans doesn't start another.
- monthly or annual
- Your choice at checkout. Annual costs ten months' price for twelve. Stripe emails a receipt for every charge, and the billing portal holds the card, the invoices and the renewal date.
- tax
- Prices are before tax. Sales tax is added at checkout where we're registered to collect it, which is Washington State.
- a failed card
Nothing changes for 14 days while Stripe retries the card and we email the account owner.
After 14 days, escalation to other people and probes pause. The pager itself never does: a page to a channel you own, and a vital's page to you, still reach your phone. A successful charge turns everything back on, and nothing is deleted.
- a smaller plan
- Nothing is deleted, but what's past the new cap stops until you move back up. Within the hour, the newest channels, vitals, keys, probes, rotations, policies and status pages beyond the new plan's numbers pause; the oldest keep working. People over the headcount stay on the account and can still be paged, but can't change anything. The owner gets one page listing what's over, and moving back up or making room under the cap lifts it all.
- refunds
- Ask within 30 days of an annual charge and the unused months go back to your card. Monthly charges aren't refunded: cancel, and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. Email hello@tissue.systems from the owner's address.
- if Mast shuts down
- Every owner gets at least 90 days' notice by email. Export keeps working the whole time, and the unused part of any annual plan is refunded without being asked. That's in the terms, section 7.
